Visit the Castle on the Hill Art Gallery featuring work by Acclaimed International Artists Robert Pope and Robert Todonai
Visit the Castle on the Hill Gallery near Mount Warning in the Tweed Valley of Northern NSW, and meet the resident artists Robert Pope and Robert Todonai. Both are well known and established Australian artists who built the Castle and its magnificent landscaped gardens by hand, using massive timber beams and locally quarried stone. You may view the collection of traditional and abstract science-art paintings on display in the gallery, as well as some of the works currently on the easel in the artists' studios.
You will be amazed when viewing these artworks through newly discovered stereoscopic glasses, which creates an amazing three dimensional effect, unlike anything seen before.
The Castle is home to the Science-Art Research Centre of Australia. The Centre is a government approved research institute created and run by the artists, which has pioneered a 21st Century Renaissance in art, science and philosophy, which is reflected in the artists' 'science-art' paintings. As well as appreciating the artworks the artists will explain the underlying Science-Art philosophy that led to the discovery of their incredible 3d art.
Visits are by appointment only so please email or phone to arrange your visit: (02) 6679 5076 or (02) 6679 5442
